Fighter Drone - Shanghai Fortress Concept Work -

In Winter 2015/2016 I got to work on the early, 'blue sky' stages of Shanghai Fortress. It was a very ambitious project, perhaps without the experience and finances to realize its full potential.

The Fighter Drone was supposed to be a remote-operated highly maneuverable areal unit capable of maneuvers that would knock out even the most skilled and seasoned pilot. I did not get the time to do a final illustration on this one before they pulled the plug on the Los Angeles team,

I'm not a fan of the landing gear and animation of the final product, but am glad the overall shape persisted.
